Along with the Tokyo Game Show, another event has been taking place this weekend. An event full of myths and legends, MMOs and RTSs, Diablos and Starcrafts, Lich Kings and Wraths. It could only be one thing: the Midway Press Event annual Blizzard Convention: Blizzcon!

First up is Starcraft II, which happens to be arriving as a trilogy.

And here’s Wrath of the Lich King, the new expansion to World of Warcraft. Remember that WOTLK will:

• Up the level cap to 80, allowing for new abilities and talents!
• Unlock the first Hero class: the Death Knight (you wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley).
• Let you learn ‘Spell Augmentation’ as a new craft, and ‘Inscription’ as a new profession.
• Give you access to the new snowy continent of Northrend.
• include new dungeons, raids and quests, though that’s kinda obvious.

So what do you think? For those of you in the WOTLK Beta, not much will be new, but the game still certainly looks nice. And as for Starcraft 2, well it certainly seems to be coming along nicely, I just hope it lives up to the hype.
