BioShock 2 tEaSEr TrAiLEr sPOtTeD

The internet is ablaze for two reasons:

  1. The International Internet Authority’s servers just caught fire.
  2. A trailer of BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams has cropped up.

See the trailer in all its rAnDOmLy-cAPitALisEd glory after the break.

There you have it, the trailer for BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams. I’m guessing that, as well a celestial foam of dreams, the sea also contains some actual, you know, H2O, since ‘dreams’ don’t really fit in with the whole ‘underwater city’ thing they have going on.

But, like all teasers, it does pose a ton of questions such as is the game set on the Atlantic coast? Who is that girl? Why is she holding a Big Daddy plushie? Where can you even buy those? Is she a giant? How is she going to get home? Are the coastguard aware? How did she get there in the first place? Parachute? If so, where’s the parachute? Is the sea warm? Cold? Tepid? Is the sun rising or setting? Does she have a camera? Does she have internet access? Wi-Fi or 3G? Tomayto, tomarto? Potayto, potarto?

Any ideas?

      That water looks pretty realer

Maybe the girl is one of the little sisters from the first game, maybe one of them goes back to rapture for some reason.

it would explain why she has a big daddy plush (self made of something). plus the fact the bioshock logo looks even more aged and ruined might hint that it is actually a sequel.

of course thats just my random guess from a random teaser trailer, could be anything really

    • The way the water came off the logo and with the things rising from the sand, maybe rapture came to the surface?

Just saw this on GamesRadar, I’m sure as hell excited. Girl is most certainly a little sister, the question is, how will they continue the story?

If the game is set on the Atlantic coast, then the sun would be setting since it rises in the east and sets in the west.

      Havok really thought about this.

    • I realize the article is tagged PS3, but how could you not mention it in the article… clearly, from the pop-up, this is from the PS3 version of BioShock meaning that this is (to my knowledge) the strongest indicator to date that Bioshock 2 isn’t going to be a 360 exclusive… because, you know… if there WAS the slightest possibility that Bioshock 2 was perhaps, maybe, possibly hinted as a 360 exclusive, news of it would be plastered all over every gaming site known to man…

      imjustsayin’

Let the speculation begin… will PS3 Bioshock 2 launch sooner than we all expected but they’re keeping quiet about it so as to not cannibalize PS3 Bioshock 1 sales? Because you KNOW they’ve got a history of denying things that end up true.

“Is she a giant?” haha, awesome XD
