Sumo Lounge steps up for Extra Life!

September 5th, 2008 at 5:29 pm · 7 Comments

Sumolounge.com has been an awesome sponsor for Sarcastic Gamer this summer, but today they did something totally awesome.

In order to motivate you to do amazing things, Sumo Lounge will give a FREE Sumo Omni to EVERY GAMER that raises at least $2000 for the event on October 18th with Extra Life.  I know that sounds like a lot, but knowing this community it wouldn’t surprise me if Sumo ended up shipping a LOT of these free Omni’s.

In addition, Sumo is also donating 5 of it’s Omni’s to the kids at Texas Children’s Cancer Center to be used in the infusion area where the kids come to get their chemotherapy.

Hats off to this generous sponsor and there’s your first challenge folks.  Get out there and make it happen!

Extra Life is a 24 hour gaming marathon to raise awareness and money to fight pediatric cancer.  Get more information at http://extralife.sarcasticgamer.com

what the heck man… it pains me to see these kids like this… when i saw the “My sister has cancer” thing, it just smacked me in the face, because my sister really did have cancer, and surprisingly she survived it, thank god for awnsering my prayers..
