Burnout Paradise is a game that just keeps getting better and better, and for free too. We’ve had the Bogart update that gave us some nice network features and fixes, and the recent Cagney update gave us custom soundtracks on the PS3 along with two new cars and Freeburn Games online. Generally, the whole thing has just had the ante upped time and time again, without costing us a penny.
This Thursday, it all gets better with the Burnout Paradise Davis update. Hit the jump for some details and a video of the update’s bikes in action.
Taken that in? Good. I’ll give you a moment to wipe that drool off the floor.
The Burnout Paradise Davis update will feature, as you might have guessed by now, motorbikes. Two, to be precise, including male and female riders [Criterion Games would like to add that they are an equal opportunities employer] and an entirely new Bike License to obtain to go with your car one. There are also Bike Road Rules to set, 38 Burning Routes to conquer and day/night changes, changing traffic patterns and opening up new routes called Midnight Routes. There’s even more Freeburn Challenges too and ‘dynamic weather’; so expect some slippery streets in Paradise City come the end of the week.
I’m pumped for this update: they get bigger and better with each iteration and with a whole new island on the horizon, this trend can only continue. Keep an eye out for my impressions of the update in the coming days!

Dang! I thought it was today. Thanks to my dyslexia, I mistook the 8 for a 6. >:(
Oh well. Two days isn’t much. Can’t wait!

Can not wait hell I am still working on getting 100%. Only 16% left. This has to be one of the best supported games, and all for free. I’ve put in well over 50 hours and looks like there will be plenty of more time put in to it now.
