You may have noticed that we didn’t have much content put up today, but I thought I’d take some time out to explain why.

Nearly all the SG Staff have had some bad luck over the past couple of days and so I was put in (and still am in) the role of Editor until things return to normal. But I’m not just talking about any kind of bad luck, I mean, we’ve been really unlucky:

Dave: Hit by hurricane Ike

Lono: Basement flooded with 3 feet of water

Rothbart: No internet at home

Havok: Internet down

Animathias: Power went down

Yamster: Packing for University

This left PMPB and myself, who between us managed to get 2 posts out today, with Yamster managing to crank out another 2.

It’s unlucky I know, but there’s not much we can do. I’m up to my neck in work, and wasn’t free until 9 pm, upon which my PS3 arrived and I wrote Previously on Sarcastic Gamer.

This is really one of those times when our real lives begin to creep in on our writing and content. As you know we all have day jobs and give up a ton of our free time to do all the stuff we do for the site, but sometimes it’s a bit too much. Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE doing it, but some things are unavoidable…like floods and hurricanes.

But we will not give up! We’ll try and keep the content coming, but it’s looking like this at the moment:

• A no no for the Humpday Update.
• A no no for your regular 1-article-an-hour-from-9-to-4 schedule.
• There’s no time table for when last week’s blue show will come out.
• We don’t know if there will be a Blue Show this Friday either.

Hopefully, everything will be back to normal on Monday.

Wow, that’s probably the most serious thing I’ve every written for this site. Let’s raise the mood a bit:
