Mirror’s Edge is to gaming, what spoons are to radiators, or, in other words, Mirror’s Edge features shiny buildings which you can jump across.

Now, I’m a nice guy, so I’ll just give you a few seconds to pull yourself up off the floor, because I know you’ll have been blown over backwards by my opening sentence.

Speaking to Eurogamer a faceless Sony spokesperson said that “exclusive downloadable content will be offered on the PlayStation Network [for Mirror's Edge].”

As I said previously, a faceless Sony spokesperson told Eurogamer that “exclusive downloadable content will be offered on the PlayStation Network [for Mirror's Edge].” Apparently this is the result of an “exclusive marketing agreement with EA regarding the title.”

However, for all you 360 owners currently crying into a blanket, this does not mean that the 360 won’t also get some exclusive DLC love. Why? Well because EA have not said the PS3 will be the sole receiver of extra content, only that it will receive some content. Of course, we don’t yet know what this content is or when it will be coming, so for all we know it could just be extra hair colors or the ability to turn the top left pixel green. We really have no idea. If I was forced to guess (and I am), then I’d say some extra levels are pretty likely, although a harder difficulty setting could be a possibility.

While EA still isn’t talking about a release date, the game will be simultaneously released on the 360, PS3 and PC, despite rumors of a PS3 timed exclusive.
