I loves me some Warhawk. I’ve probably spent more time playing Warhawk than any other single PS3 title. Incognito, who worried a lot of people, prior to Warhawk’s release (even into the beta period) have gone above and beyond in support of the game after launch. That support shows no sign of stopping, as we’re awaiting the Warhawk 1.5 patch, bringing with it Trophy support. The full list of trophies has (as it probably always will) made it to the internet before the update did, so being the Warhawk fan I am, (and figuring there’s relatively little to spoil by peaking since Warhawk isn’t a campaign or story-based game) I checked out the list.

Then I did a double-take… did I just read what I THOUGHT I read?!?! Holy ****! It DOES say that! Warhawk is getting… you know what, I’ll tell you after the jump…

Warhawk is getting JETPACKS! There, I said it. Three different trophies are related to jetpacks. There are two Silver and one Gold level trophies. Why don’t I just list them, that’d be easier than beating around the bush:

• Aerial Ballet (Silver) — While flying a jetpack, kill an enemy (who is also flying a jetpack) with any weapon other than the Rocket Launcher.
• Are You Aim-Botting? (Silver) — Snipe an enemy who is flying a jetpack.
• That Was Some Bug (Gold) – Kill an enemy who is flying a jetpack by hitting him with any vehicle or aircraft.

So what I would deduce from this list is that you can probably lock onto a jetpack with the rocket launcher but every other weapon is going to be difficult to nail someone with because they’re likely quite maneuverable. (I would also assume they’re not very durable.) It’s good to see that jetpacks can also suffer impact damage, so getting nailed by a jeep or Warhawk while flying is bad news, as is running into a building or mountain I’d guess.
