In case you didn’t know, Sarcastic Gamer is going to PAX this year. Now, we don’t like to make a big song and dance about it, so we only plastered half of the site with banners and ads from our sponsers. See? We’re the site that keeps on giving…low quality content.

Anyway, I have been given the prestigious job of covering the first piece of PAX 08 news: MC Frontalot’s film, Nerdcore Rising, will have its West Coast premiere at PAX 08.

Nerdcore rising is a film that follows MC Frontalot (and his band), on his first ever national tour from South Carolina to PAX 08.

Nerdcore is a genre of music which focuses on…well, nerd stuff. Pretty much any nerdy topic you can think of, can, or has been, turned into a nerdcore song.

The film was already shown at SXSW this year, but PAX will be the first west coast showing at 4pm on Saturday 28 August, 2008.
