Hello and welcome to the seventh edition of our new feature here on Sarcastic Gamer cleverly entitled ‘Sarcastic Gamer’s Weekly Wonder’. This week, we want to know how you’ve been surviving the Summer games drought. Have you been working your way through a consoles back catalogue or have you been replaying titles you already own? Maybe you don’t think there is a drought, if so, which games have you bought? Which platform has been hit the worst by the drought? What games are you looking forward to getting when the drought ends on September 5th?

I’ve been replaying old games. I ended up getting rehooked on Chromehounds. All platforms probably got hit. The games I’m looking forward to are: Saints Row 2, Far Cry 2, and Mercenaries 2. A lot of 2.
I haven’t been affected by the drought. I’ve been playing a lot of Warhawk which I never really played that much before now. Anyway with no games to buy now I can look forward to the future releases.
I have been spending more time on SG then playing games, and I also enjoy playing in gamernights and other people from SG. I have gone back to some older games also this summer because of lack of quality titles (I went back to Halo 3, and I have also played GoW a little again).
I finally picked up Gears of War, and Soul Calibur IV has kept me busy the last couple of weeks.

I got myself a new computer and have been playing TF2.
Well, I am only 13 and my parents won’t buy any new games for me anytime soon, so I was grinding halo, COD4, and command and conquer.
I’ve been playing Burnout Paradise, and I’ve got Soul Calibur IV and Siren, so I’m pretty satisfied. But yes there is a major shortage of games on both consoles. I personally can’t wait to get my paws on Spore in september.
I am finally getting around to playing more of my PS3 and picked up Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. That game is amazing. That and alot of TF2 on the 360.
