Disgustingly poor jokes aside, Brett Ratner has said that he would like to do a Guitar Hero movie, but in order to find out MOAR! MOAR! MOAR! You have to JUMP! JUMP! JUMP!

Our good friend Brett said that he was “trying to convince” Activision to let him do a Guitar Hero film, but then said “why would you have a movie screw up such a huge franchise?”

What did you just say Brett? Did you just say that if you made the film it might screw up the franchise, thereby making it a bad movie? Y’know what guys, I think he did. Sound the alarms! Call the papers! Extra, extra, read all about it: Movie director says he-

“Not that I would make a bad movie.”

Oh right of course, my mistake. “Ok Bob you can turn off those non-existent alarms, and burn all the news papers. I want all of them destroyed”

Bob: “But it would be cheaper to not burn them, we’ll make a massive loss. Eoco Publishing LLC will go bust!”

Me: “I said burn them!”

Bob: “But why?”

Me: “I don’t know….”

Bob: “Fine, I’ll burn them. Sheesh.”

Me: “Good work Bob, fancy some soup? I have some right here, fresh tomato soup.”

Bob: “Ok, sure. Y’know the other day I saw this camel and it was really big, so I went-”

Ok, we’ll leave that there.

Brett, as well as directing movies, has his own consulting company, and apparently he has a deal with Activision for their branding. In fact, relations are so good, that he helped name the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour. “So they said: ‘Come up with a name.’ And I did, and it became ‘Guitar Hero: World Tour.’”

So Activision couldn’t even think of a name for their own game, Guitar Hero 4, is one that springs to mind.

Personally I can’t wait to see the Guitar Hero movie, with Yellow note as the lead character, featuring a cameo from Red note. That would actually be incredible.
