Those crafty roosters over at Rooster Teeth (mmm delicious) have, at this year’s PAX, unveiled something so packed with awesomeness that it may explode into a gore filled burst of immenseness, incredibleness and OMGTHAT’SRADtasticacity.

But what could be this great? Well, if you read the title of this post you would know, otherwise hit the jump. Actually, even if you do know, go ahead and hit the jump anyway…there’s a video!

Sarcastic Gamer’s PAX 2008 Coverage is brought to you exclusively by:

Yep, that’s right: Red v. Blue has taken the jump into the world of Japanese anime, as shown by the video below. Luckily the voice acting will remain the same, <insert witty sentence ending here>.

No word of a release date as of yet, but as usual, we’ll keep you updated.

Hmm…. That might not be too bad, I mean, they’ve had success doing machinima, maybe they’ll be able to put their jokes across even better with the anime route.

This reminds me why I hate anime. The animation is too stiff and everything is over the top. But, they could do a lot more things with this than in Halo 3, so I’ll keep an eye on this.

That was awesome XD. This could be really good.

As long as they keep the funny, I think the move from machinima to traditional animation will be a positive route. After all, there is no real way they could have done what we saw in that video via machinima. There are many machinimas that I enjoy, and it is amazing what people can do with it, but it is still limiting.
