Remember a little game called Fallout 3? Oh, you do, well that’s half my post gone. Erm…well I’m not quite sure what to do now…

Fallout 3, the sequel to Fallout 2 (surprise!), is the latest game by Oblivion developer, Bethesda. As you’ve probably seen from gameplay footage, trailers and good ol’ fashioned interwebs hype, the game is pretty good, good enough to bag it the ‘Best of Show’ at Crufts the Game Critic’s Awards and a coveted spot on ‘Eoco’s to buy’ list.

All 3 versions of Fallout 3 will be available in North America on October 28, and in Europe on October 31, so circle the applicable date on your Google e-calendar, expensive glossy calendar or homemade-sheet-of-A4 calendar.

If you actually bothered to read this post (and if so, why?), then you may have noticed that about 1 sentence ago I mentioned that there were 3 versions of Fallout 3. We’ve already covered the contents of each of the editions, but just to recap you can buy the Standard, Collectors and Survival editions for $60, $70 and $130 respectively.

Of course, Fallout 3 is arriving on the PS3, PC and 360, but you may want to give the PS3 version a miss, due to the 360 and PC’s exclusive DLC, and of course the ever desirable achievements.

So, which version are you looking to pick up, and on which console? Post your answers in the comment box below.
