(Non-fiction) QuakeCon: Brand new Wolfenstein screens

August 1st, 2008 · 1 Comment

Fresh from Quakecon 2008 come these brand new screens of the latest Wolfenstein game. Expect Nazis, alternative timeline stories and superhuman sci-fi goodness. Curiously some screenshots depict the settings changing into rather Armageddon-esque forms, spilling a smidgen of plotline for you to speculate about.

Hit the jump for each new screenshot, rendered in pristine, delicious, mouth-watering hi-def. Or as mouthwatering as the prospect of global conflict can be. I’m drooling anyway. I know, I’m terrible.

      Sexy. :)

It looks like Wolfenstein won’t fail to amaze. I remember playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein on the original Xbox when I was nine. My cousin and I played that game all night.
It started out fighting regular Nazis, you know, standard fare stuff. Then, all these monsters started running around, and all Hell broke loose. It was a real shocker, and one of the most memorable things I’ve seen on Xbox to date.

Ah, those were the days: Wolfenstein, Ghost Recon, and Halo. :)
