Zombie employment on the rise in gaming

The unemployment rate for undead the world over has plummeted recently, with several titles (both publicized and obscure) hitting the market in short order.  If you count moaning and drooling blood as a career skill on your resume’, this could be the year you hit it big.

Here are a couple of places you might want to apply.

Employer: Valve Software — Game:  Left 4 Dead — Release Date:  November 2008 — Platform: 360, PC

To score a spot in the cast of Left 4 Dead, you’re going to need to be flexible.  That’s because the game’s new “Director” component reads player behavior, calculates stress level, and sends in more or fewer zombies based on that data.  You’re also going to need to be very quick on your rotting feet, as zombies in this game are expected at times to sprint towards their foes.  Light lunging is also required.

Benefits include unlimited respawn and the opportunity to eat the flesh of up to 4 cooperative players at a time.  Applicants can also expect to be rendered in stunning detail.

Do you consider yourself a more traditional zombie, consider a Wii alternative. (next page)
