The new game Spiderman game, Web of Shadows, is drawing closer to release date and Activision wants this game to be in touch with what the fans want. They have been letting fans vote on characters and other aspects of the game, with more voting to come.

In an election year, isn’t it wonderful to see democracy in action. Unless you’re not fan of democracy, then I guess it’s not, comrade.

Check out Activision’s latest contest, after the jump.

The current decision to be made is the box art for the game packaging. There are two selections above are at www.seizecontrol.com for fans to chose from. There will be more to vote on further down the road.

To date, members have already helped Activision cast voice actors for actual roles in the final game, based on auditions that were held at this year’s New York Comic Con. Voting has also commenced to find the perfect models to portray fan favorites Black Cat and Mary Jane in the Activision booth at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Fans will continue to have unprecedented control over the campaign with upcoming votes including gifts for pre-sell, gameplay content to be posted on the community website, packaging layout, and more.

If you’re a fan of the web slinger, you might want to jump on this. It’s one of the things you can do from home. The other alternative is to go to Comic Cons and see all of the weirdos. Not saying that all who attend those things are odd, but there will be some weird floating around that place. You could catch it, then your wardrobe will include a Babylon 5 t shirt. NOOOOOOOO!

Go and be a part of the decision making process. ROCK THE VOTE!
