News that Bungie was already hard at work developing what will be Halo 4.
Now we’re told that this will be announced officially at E3.
The prior news was probably like a weatherman predicting a hurricane “sometime somewhere.” This starts the ticking clock for what would end up being a pretty big deal.
Halo 4. E3.

I have mixed feelings about this. I love the halo series, but I really don’t know if it needs another game. If they do make Halo 4 Bungie better be damned sure it can stand next to or top all of the other quality titles that are out. Super hype will probably build again, but I hope it doesn’t.
frankly i was kinda dissapointed with halo 3, somehow just wasnt as fun as 2 ……sorry, me no like halo jesus lol.

Damnit Doc you better not be screwing with us. LOL. If this is real….I don’t know if I’m excited or bitch slapped. I severely doubt that it will be anounced. It’s too soon for Halo 4. Halo 3 was released last year! Halo 2 was number 1 on LIVE for about 3 to 4 years. Halo 3…….3/4 of a year? No way.

I’m not convinced it’s going to appear at E3. Surely Halo attention will be focussed on Wars, why take away from it with a new game.

Yeah i dunno about Halo 4 this E3, the last thing i wanna see is Halo being turned into Final Fantasy (which i hate for so may reasons that are inappropriate to talk about) you know, the never ever ending game which should have only been a 1 off. I don’t doubt Halo 4 in the future but to say its gunna be annouced now is a little to early. Im a xbox bloke through and though and worship the ground Master chief walks on but i don’t wanna see him again anytime soon.

Have to say notwhite is full of some undiscovered bile matter. He said Microsoft could buy Sony…. He is full of it. Its the other way around. Sony Could buy Microsoft. And A another Halo would just absolutely suck. The third one was just bad. The fourth one is just over doing. But it figures. Over Hyped, Overrated, Overdone.
If this turns out to be true, I want a decent single player campaign this time. And a long one too.
I know alot of people who are huge Halo Fans that would hate if this came out. I used to be a fan of the series, Till Halo 3. Which honestly, I knew it wouldn’t live up to the hype, But gave it a chance. It was pretty bad, no where near the classic that the first one was. And the online maps for the 3rd nowhere near lives up to the ones in H2, so online gaming isn’t as good because, I could never feel comfortable on the MP maps. Anywho, An actual direct sequel of Halo 3 is a bad idea, an spin off RTS for a console is a bad idea, The halo series needs a new direction.
I was a fan of the series until Halo 2 came out. Halo 2 was a terribly overrated game just as Halo 3 is. If this is true, which I really doubt, then Microsoft is just trying to milk Halo for everything they can because they know people will buy it no matter how terrible.
Also, notwhite can go suck a cock. I don’t own PS3 and I don’t intend to but you are retarded if you honestly think Microsoft can buy out Sony. Go to your “parties” and do everyone a favor by staying off the internet
THE GAME
I doubt it. Halo main series games come out every three years. 01 04 07 10 should be the next one, and it’s awefully soon to be announcing a game for 2010. But maybe a Halo game… but there are already two coming out. A third one? Seems unlikely. Probably announcements for Halo Wars and the Untitled Halo Project.
ALrighty. The fine people at bungie, will no doubt eventually continue the story of the renowned master chief. But not any time soon.. Think on this:
Your a bungie employee that’s been there for the whole span of the halo series or at least worked on 2 -3. Those men an women have been sitting there listening to the same Audio files(tweaking them slightly) and have been working with the same color palettes for many years. i’m pretty sure the job would get very repetitive and boring working with the same subject matter for that LONG. They’ll most likely go off in some new , maybe odd direction, to refresh the creative genius, of those who work there. The halo related things to look for at E3 would be Peter jackson’s proj. as well as a media blowout for halo wars. I heard something about gearbox doing something possibly halo related as well..
In whatever case.. right now we have halo 3… which can last us until the next halo related thing comes out. And let’s let bungie rest from the chief for now…
Every time I log on to XBL to play H3 there are at least 250,000 gamers online, at peak 450,000. H3 didn’t do so well? Let’s shoot em up!
While at it, what is another good title for online shooting? At least as good as H3?

I think the bungie anouncement is simply about the halo movie but there is to consider the source. Think of it like this. Bungie must have relized that someone is leeking info so they come up with a Halo 4 teezer to figure out who it is then the big announcement is simply about. But this is completely hypothetical.

ive always been a huge fan of halo.. halo one introduced me to an awesome world..halo 2 gave us more insight on the charactors…halo 3…no comment. but i would love to see what they can come up with for halo 4…if the rumors are true. it shall be interesting.

im not quite sure if there will be a halo 4 because in halo 3, when u finished the game, the war ended… so im not sure but it would be AWESOME!!

guys I would hate bungie if they dont make halo 4 because even if they hate it they have 2 because on halo 3 legendary ending there was another halo ring wich really they screwed up leaking out halo 4
