I just wanted to sort out some of the confusion that there’s been over the title of this feature. Originally this feature was called ‘Bi-monthly Blog Theme’. However Yamster kindly pointed out to me that Bi-monthly means every 2 months, not twice a month as I’d intended. We therefore have a new name for this feature. Sarcastic Gamer’s Bi-weekly Blog Theme. Its the ‘Bi-weekly’ that’s important.

Anyway. After first announcing this feature we’ve had literally ones of posts. Ok, just one post (though it was a good one). In case you’ve forgotten about what the hell this is, then have a look inside.

And remember, if you are writing about the blog theme remember to title your blog like so:

‘Title here - Blog theme name here’

Note: We’re trying to get this Blog Theme permanently on the front page, but it requires some thought.

Think of this feature as a general theme for the user blogs. Every two weeks I will set a theme or topic, then you guys write about it in your user blogs. Now, you do not have to write about the theme - you can still continue to talk about whatever you want, whether it’s you collection of stuffed cows, or showing off your latest USB cable. However, if you do choose to write about the theme, then there’s a much greater chance of getting on the front page.

This Fortnight’s theme is ‘If I could, I would’. If you had the opportunity to make a video game, what would you do? What platform(s) would it be on and what genre would it be (or maybe an entirely new idea)? Write about your game in as much detail as you can, and the best pieces will be put on the front page for all to see.

All you have to do is write a blog post in your user blog and title it like so:

‘Blog title here - If I could, I would’

Make sure you put the ‘If I could, I would’ at the end as that way we can sort through all the blogs easily and pick out the ones that have chosen to write about this Fortnight’s Blog Theme.
