Sadly I didn’t know about him until now but his lecture is really inspiring. I will recommend this lecture to everyone I know. Thanks Doc for posting the video!

Randy’s “last lecture” is one of the best, if not the best, lectures I’ve heard. Truly inspiring. I wouldn’t say that his light has been put out just yet. He lives on through the ALICE program and this lecture.

wow… thanks for making me aware of this person – i’ve heard of some of the things he was involved with but never knew who he was.
this was the first time ever that i watched such a long video of someone i hadn’t heard before… i expected i’d only watch the first few minutes and then probably forget about it again but it really gripped me and i watched it start to finish and most certainly will not forget about it ever again.

I got round to watching the lecture on Saturday night and by God, he was an inspiring man to watch for every minute of it. It’s just a tragedy that the best minds are robbed of life young.
