Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty Coming to PSN this Summer

July 15th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Sony have just announced at their E3 Press Conference in LA that a new Ratchet and Clank from developer Insomniac, will be hitting the PSN this Summer. The great part? It will cost $14.99. The bad part? They described it as “a shorter game at a lower price.”

From the footage that was shown we were all wowed. The game looked great and most of us forgot that it wasn’t on Blu-Ray and was on the PSN.

Apparently the ending of Ratchet and Clank: Future will set up the story for Quest for Booty, which follows Clank’s progress after the events of the previous game.

No release date is know other than ‘this summer’, but we’ll update this post will all the news as we get it.

Pretty cool, I’d assume this means they’ll be jumping straight into the next Ratchet & Clank game once Resistance 2 is finished.

I watched the E3 coverage and video the showed and it looked to be every bit as good as the Future: Tools of destruction. Kinda sucks that the game won’t be very long, but it’ll be something I DL to be sure.
