The folks over at the PlayStation.Blog (still new to the concept of how to use full stops properly) have listed what US users can expect in the coming week as E3 takes place. Stateside PS3 owners can not only look forward to the usual weekly update of games and add-ons but can also expect daily presentation videos straight from E3 in slightly-unnecessary high definition.
Hit the jump for what to expect from the PS Store during E3.
During the weekly update, you can expect Elefunk to hit the Store (some puzzle game or another) as well as the Best of the Who Rock Band addon and the Super Stardust HD Team pack, which comes with online co-operative play and the ability to customise your ship, presumably to avoid confusion and accidentally ploughing your craft into the nearest asteroid when you mistake it for somebody else’s.
Aside from the usual Thursday update, Sony are promising daily video updates from the various conferences being held in Los Angeles including “Capcom, Namco Bandai, Activision and THQ”..and probably Sony as well, despite the fact they’ve failed to mention themselves. For some reason or another, they’ll be in high definition so you can admire your favourite game company ‘celebrity’ (if there are any save for CliffyB and to an extent Phil Harrison, but that’s only because he jumped ship when he thought Sony was going down) with pockmarks and beads of sweat present and correct.
Of course, since nobody in Europe matters, gamers on the other side of the Atlantic can forget getting any of this wonderful content (if you want to call balding executives talking for half an hour before revealing something interesting ‘wonderful’) for a few weeks, if at all. Even though America received ‘PlayStation Day’ content fresh from London, you can probably forget this sort of thing happening in reverse, especially with UK PS.Blog ‘equivalent’ (using that term very loosely) ThreeSpeech remaining ominously silent on the subject. I mean, we’re only the second biggest market in the world after Asia so we’d expect nice treatment, but that’s Sony for you.
Either way, Stateside cousins, look forward to your hi-def sweaty Sony suits on stages in the Store soon (alliteration rocks!). The Nintendo and Microsoft conferences will be absent for obvious reasons.

A hint for anyone (like me) in europe who wouldn’t normally be able to access these things…
If you create another PSN account and select USA as you’re location, you have full access to the PSN store. Means you can download all the e3 updates, and demo’s etc before they’re here in Europe
