Nonfiction: Prank too cool NOT to post

July 11th, 2008 · 12 Comments

Forgive the total lack of any video game relevance, but I just watched the coolest prank video I’ve ever seen.  207 people came together to pull off a very creative prank in what appears to be a big train station.  On cue, all 207 people freeze in place, and remain totally motionless for 5 minutes, while onlookers wonder what the hell has happened.

My favorite quote from one bystander:

I thought it was just me that was seeing it at first.

Although I’ve seen it before I love watching this. Makes you wish you could get involved in something like this.

By the way, the ‘big train station’ you refer to is the world famous Grand Central Station (or Grand Central Terminal) in NYC.

Doc, look at their youtube channel:

      ImprovEverywhere

They do a lot of neat stuff, like protest outside of wendeys, run through the city with no pants, and bring desktop computers to wifi startbucks… something like 54,000 members that participate world wide

I love ImprovEverywhere, their Best Buy one is the best, though it’s old as well. If anyone hasn’t heard of it or seen it, you should.

I’ve actually read through it a million times, but it still makes me smile.

Thanks for reminding me of IE, there goes my day :/
