New Red and Green 360 Controllers Will Dazzle Your Eyes

Yep, you read that right. In addition to the white, black, blue and pink 360 controllers, there are two new colours joining the pack – red and green. Release date, pictures and details after the jump!

If you want to spice up your living room, why not re-paint it, or get some new wallpaper? Alternatively you could pick up one of Microsoft’s new controllers in red (with black borders). Here it is:

I swear it looks more magenta than red, but hey, that’s just me. The controller looks pretty nice, but it’s just not sexy (huh?) enough for me to pick one up when, and if, it comes to Europe. It’s functionality is exactly the same as any other wireless controller, headset port and all, but the red controller comes bundled with a Play and Charge Kit for the low low price of $64.99 which, from a finacial standpoint, is a tantalising $5 saving. Woo! Free money! Well, not quite.

Strangely the red controller isn’t coming out until September 30th and Microsoft didn’t even mention it at their press conference yesterday.

There is also a green controller, but this was not mentioned in the press release and no information is known about it. However, I’d bet my money (don’t worry I never bet) that it also comes out September 30th.

Here’s the green controller:

Horrible isn’t it? It’s almost offensively green. I certainly won’t be picking that one up.

So, are you going to get either of these controllers? Or are they a waste of money? Sound off in the comment box!
