Though it’s been a bit slow lately, August looks to be a good month for the Xbox Live Arcade Digital Distribution Platform that features on the Xbox 360 Entertainment Unit with Online Capabilities and Media Functionality as revealed by The Gamerscore blog.
Hit the jump and prepare to drool…due to drugs coming out your PC screen. The games are good to.
[UPDATE: According to the Official Japanese 360 Blog Braid will cost 1200 MS Points and Castle Crashers will set you back 1800 MS Points (the most expensive arcade game ever). Bionic Commando and Galaga Legions are both 800 MS Points. Even though this is the Japanese price, American and European prices are almost always the same. Microsoft have just lost 2 sales, because I won't be buying at that price.]
[UPDATE 2: Microsoft are denying these prices for both the domestic and international markets, saying that the actual prices will be revealed on August 4 and 25]
July 30 – Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 (800 points)
Some of you may be complaining over the price of Geometry Wars 2, which happens to be double the original’s, but do not fret! While the original only had 2 game modes, the sequel has 6. Therefore we are getting 3 times the amount of game content. Therefore it should cost 1200 points. Therefore Bizarre are knocking 400 points of the price, are very generous and love us all. Buy it now!
Shhh, not now. Can’t you see I’m writing a post here? Just er…transfer it via PayPal. Yes whatever I’ll mention more of PGR4. Don’t call me on this number again!-
Talking of Geometry Wars, why not buy PGR4? It’s really good. Also I really like Bizarre – their games rock! Buy all of them now, though make sure they’re new, not pre-owned.
Hehem.
Don’t worry, we’re not done yet. Head over to the next page for more!

I don’t have much hope for how popular it’ll be, but I think Braid is going to be great. Interested in them all to some degree except for Geometry Wars. I liked the original but now I’ve tried Super Stardust HD I just don’t see how GW could compare
I wonder if I rub 2 points cards together they’ll make baby points cards. I want to pick up every single on of them but might have to limit it to just a couple.
Braid and Galaga Legions intrigue me. I’m willing to bet that of the bunch, Braid is the one I’ll be most interested in.
According to the official Japanese Xbox 360 blog, Braid (August 6) lists a purchase price of 1200MS Points ($15 US), while the highly anticipated Castle Crashes clocks in at a hefty 1800MS Points ($22.50 US) — making it the most costly XBLA title to date.
