As revealed earlier this week EA have signed a deal with the United Talent Agency, giving the developer access to Hollywood’s hottest actors, writers, producers and directors. 20th Century Fox has already confirmed it’s working on a big-screen adaption of The Sims and an animated TV spin-off of the Wii and DS counterpart MySims.
Sarcastic Gamer has received the exclusive first draft of ideas for the MySims cartoon, including character designs, locations and scripts. Hit the jump for the lot!
First up, fresh from the tablet computers of 20th Century Fox’s cartoon design team come three of the as-yet-unnamed character designs to appear in the upcoming animated adaptation of MySims. EA’s influence is obvious, due to the “vital product placement” apparent on each of the stereotypical characters: look for similarities to Winnie the Pooh’s Eeyore as well as other generic cartoon stereotypes.

In addition, an initial script design was also leaked to us through our source at 20th Century Fox, featuring elements such a narrator (akin to the Pokémon anime) character personalities and EA-influenced product placement.

You can’t deny these developments are looking pretty exciting. Maybe EA’s foray into the movie and television industry wont be such a bad thing at all.

OMG! The show looks really screwed. I even have an idea of a TV show called “Sims” and its alot better looking than this.
…wow…that’s just sad…
Well, it’s just a draft so I guess this won’t matter much. Everything was pretty much advertisement, not really what a show sould consist of. I really hope EA knows what they’re doing.
