$59.99, the universal price for Xbox 360 and PS3 games here in the States. So whenever we find a chance to get a discount on that price on launch day, we make it happen. Maybe we is just me, but there has to be at least one more person who will take advantage. I found a store that is willing to knock off $10 if you pre-order Far Cry 2 from them.
Finally, a pre-order that everyone can enjoy. Everyone in the US anyway.

I am boycotting Circuit City here in Houston for their crappy return policy on Xbox 360s. Now, I don’t know if BestBuy has changed, but you used to be able to take a broken 360 that you purchased from them, and walk out of the building a few minutes later with a new one. I took my RRoD Elite back to the Circuit City over on Highway 6 – if you bring in a broken 360, they send you home, have you call a 1800 number, they send you a coffin, you send the coffin to Circuit City, and after a week, they test your box and send you a gift card in the amount you paid for it! Arrgghh! Pain in the @$$.
( I used the gift card to buy a really nice camera for my wife & then repurchased my 360 Elite at Best Buy.)
Anyway, if it was anyone other than Circuit City with this $10 deal, I might take them up on it. Far Cry was a staple of my GeezerGamer clan LMB when it was out on the X1.
