We just realized that Bungie’s big announcement coincides exactly with the Activision Press Conference happening in about 45 minutes.
Could Activision be getting in bed with Bungie for a Halo game?

Im confused… since when did Bungie schedule an announcement that will take place in two hours? The closest thing to an announcement that i know about is the superintendent countdown clock on bungie.net.
Can’t happen, they’d also have to get with MS, since they own the IP. Maybe Marathon, though. Or, they could be assisting IW on that new future shooter IP…

Idk.. a lot of people on the bnet forums are calling bs thinking that its just to screw with us. A lot of us also have no idea what to think anymore. I guess we’ll just have to wait it out to see.

I wish it was fake, but Bungie employee Luke Smith has confirmed the letter’s validity. This is a very sad announcement.
