For the Sarcasticgamer faithful, you may remember our first meeting with Chet from Valve when the crew played Left 4 Dead at Quakecon and our first interview with Chet way back in Episode 4 of the Red show.

Doc and Dave met up with Chet again at E3 for an expanded look at Left 4 Dead. Check out the video below.

For more great videos from Doc and Dave have a look here for our Youtube Fiesta and here for our Veoh Fietsa.

No PS3 version? Wikipedia page mentions it but we know how reliable that is!

as of right now there are no plans for a PS3 version. They pretty much said if EA want to make a port they can but valve wants nothing to do with it. 360 FTW!!!

I got to play this game and it was unbelievably fun. You could hear all the people playing it during our interveiw going nuts. My guess is that this will be best multiplayer game of the year bar-non. I cant wait.

      Let the blaspheming begin:
I hate to be Debby downer here, but I have to say (at least from watching the video) I was pretty disappointed. I was excited for this game because of the four player co-op but now…not so much. As mentioned above, there were an extremely large amount of nasties running down the stairs. So? I can see this game becoming very repetitive.

Also, I love me a good video game story (or story in general as long as it isn’t coming from ol’ gramps). The lack of story bothers me. It seems as though you really will have no extra motivation to trudge through the zombie infested game.

I really REALLY hope I’m wrong here. I want me a good online co-op, but it seems it won’t be coming from Valve. I’ll wait for Resident Evil 5 to get my freak killing fix.

Any word one split-screen? That’d be awesome.
