Worldwide Gamer Night Info

June 26th, 2008 · 5 Comments

We’ve got a wide selection of nights for you to choose from this week, so I’m not going to waste your time with introductions.

I would like to thank our own Mighty Mutt for his help on the new banner!

Follow the jump for all the information.

If you have any questions about the time zones, use this clock to figure it out.

Xbox 360

  • Grand Theft Auto IV - Today (Thursday) - 4:30 CST - Sign Up - If the original gamer nights are a bit late for you, maybe you’d like to join the gang for an earlier get together. This week, they’re playing Grand Theft Auto IV.
  • Call of Duty 4 - Friday - 9:00 EST - Sign Up - Since Battlefield isn’t exactly gamer-night friendly, the original 360 gamer night is heading back to Call of Duty 4 for some good old fun. The action is kicking off a little bit earlier than normal due to the host’s work schedule.
  • Project Gothan Racing 4 - Friday - 10:00 GMT - Sign Up - It’s the week of 4’s! The European gamer night is hitting the race track for some PGR4 action.
  • Call of Duty 4 - Saturday - 9:30 EST - Sign Up - If Friday night doesn’t work well for you, maybe Saturday night would be perfect. If you’d like to get some Saturday night CoD4 action, feel free to sign up.

Playstation 3

  • Grand Theft Auto IV - Friday - 11:00 GMT - Sign Up - Hopefully all of the problems with GTAIV on the PS3 have been fixed so it doesn’t interfere with the gaming nights. The European PS3 gamer night his hitting GTAIV and it’s the perfect time for anyone who wants to sign up.
  • Battlefield Bad Company - Saturday - 7:00 EST - Sign Up - I’m not sure how well Bad Company will work for a gamer night, but I haven’t played the PS3 version so it could have something the 360 doesn’t. In any case, it’s going to be attempted this Saturday.

That’s all for this week. I’m not sure what happened to the Wii gamer nights, but as I hear, turnout was down. If you’d like to host a gamernight, email me using the link to the right or send me a PM on the forums. As always, Game On.

yo what about MGO? We need that team based action here

C’mon we need some variety here. Not much but 2 COD4 and 2 GTA4. Plus my copy of BF:BC is on the 360. I don’t see the sense in using the PS3 for BF:BC with its bad “no playing with friends” record I guess I’ll have to wait for the next gamer night.*sigh*

MGO is region locked and their is nothing wrong with the PS3 version of BF, thats why I chose it, more variety.

DBZ Burst Limit is a 1v1 game, not very good for an 10+ people sign up.

As for the variety, I have no say over that. I only make one gamer night, and since that’s one with a big turnout usually, I have to stick with games that hold more people. All the other gamernights are organized by community members.
