Was there ever an official explanation of why the podcasts were given their own individual feeds?
6 Doc // May 20, 2008 at 10:47 am
@Kilt.
not yet.
For now let’s just say not everyone was down with getting all of the shows. there was much bellyaching.
We do anticipate being able to offer a universal feed before too long. Once…. the lineup of podcasts….. is complete.
hmmmm MUAHAHA!

Thanks for the answer
Little surprised that some people were disgruntled. Maybe I’m biased as a Playstation owner, but never felt it was so focussed on the subject that it would put people off, and I really don’t see why anybody would have a complaint with the Humpday Update.
Anyway, can’t wait til you get a universal feed. I’m one of these people who suscribes to so many podcasts that I’m always chasing to keep up, so it’s convenient to have all the SG podcasts on one feed in chronological order.

Will there ever be a Green Podcast for the 360?
It would suit the pack well, and it could be on Sundays…

I only have a 360 but I prefer to listen to a podcast that includes all the consoles, I don’t want to download a separate file for each.

umm…just letting you all know, all 3 SG podcasts are getting beat by the iCarly podcast.
Its ok Doc, Dave and Lono — we still love you

I seem to be getting the Hump Day Update (would like to know the reasoning behind that name…o.O) and the SG cast through the same iTunes feed.
Even after deleting them and re-subscribing. So now I get two times the hump.

The Humpday update is so called because it comes out on Wednesday. Wednesday is the middle of the working week, when you’ve finished Wednesday your over the hump and down the other side, heading towards Friday and the end of the week.
There ya go.

@Doc and Lono: iCarly is a TV show for kids on Nickelodeon… it’s based on a girl (Carly) that has her own online show. Apparently there’s a real-world podcast tie-in. That’s actually very smart. My kids love the show… they’re smack dab in that “we don’t need quality to watch it” age of television viewing.
@CodInThePocket: You’ll have to settle for the Red show for your 360 news… it helps with mental association if you stare at the red logo and then blink about every half second. It’ll “click”… trust me.

@ Rothbart: Yeah, right… your “kids” love iCarly…
