Id have to disagree with lono if other site can do it for free with out choosing favorites why should this site ask people to buy something to listen, kinda reminds me of the EA game one more step and this could have been a disaster

You disagree with me? Well, guess what, this site is my second job, which takes me away from my family and my hobbies, other than gaming. We do it because we love it and we love the people that come here. Servers cost money, equipment costs money, mobile sites cost money… Where does this money come from?
You sir are either naive or just plain ignorant as to what it takes to run a website, let alone a site that does as much as we do for our readers…

I know how you feel. There’s a fine line between doing something nice for people who buy something in the store and turning the good stuff into subscription-based content. This is an example of the site taking another step towards that subscription model, and I can understand how it might make you antsy.
However. I know these guys quite well. Lono has spent many months basically “training” me for the site, so you get to know a guy from that.
Doc and I don’t really talk much, but in the emails I see and when we do talk – he cares about this community more than a normal man should. He might make you look at ads, or toss SG store ads into his articles – but he will NEVER alienate half of this site’s community UNLESS the community decided it was a good idea.
Sure, everything costs money, but he’ll sooner have the entire site plastered with Kane & Lynch ads then force anyone in the community to pay us for content.

Sorry. You caught me at a REALLY bad time. I have patience for a lot of things but our motives behind getting up every day and busting our asses to provide consistent high-quality content for people aren’t something I was prepared to have questioned.
If dave had seen that comment he would have been really upset, seeing how he puts more time and effort into those podcasts than anyone.
Tell Dave he’s in it for the money. First he’ll laugh at you… Then the gloves would come off.
It’s good idea Doc but you know what the internet is like, they may take it the wrong way and then you end up getting a lot of s**t just becuase your doing something nice to the loyal people of the site.

I agree with both parties in this argument. On one hand Lono is right people who bought shirts etc. deserve extra special goodies but on the other it was SG who boycotted BF:BC originally cause they were given special treatment to customers who bought a different package.
Boycott Sarcastic Gamer! Only joking I wouldn’t do that I have nothing against this bonus podcast.
