The PSP is doing better than they’d planned because breaking into the market is generally a bomb. Look at Microsoft as a great example. The Xbox is the biggest and most expensive failure in the industry’s history. Microsoft bought market share for something like 1.2 billion dollars. But their next foot in the door was a success and now turns a profit.
The PSP actually has turned out to be a viable handheld platform. In the years its been out, its done even better than the gameboy and Nintendo didnt have any competition. Just look at the N-Gage or Lynx if you wanna know what Sony expected with the PSP. Go PSP!
Grats on your PS3 PMPB! Canada rocks the PS3!
