The gaming community ferociously applauded after Idaho cops say a young man struck Jack Thompson in the face with a snow shovel. Thompson, known by most gamers as “the devil”, was in the middle of a lecture at the University of Idaho when the incident occurred. John Patterson, a sophomore says he saw the whole thing.
“Mr. Thompson was going into his usual bitch session about how video games are ruining our youth… blah blah blah. Then suddenly there was this ear piercing war cry from the back of the auditorium. All I saw was a streak, then I heard the ding, and then Thompson was on the floor.”
According to another witness, the suspect proceeded to scream at Thompson’s limp body,”Do you know how f***ing boring it is living in Idaho? Games give me something to do besides growing, picking, and eating potatoes you son of a bitch!”
The suspect was promptly tackled and tazed by campus security who then issued a statement.
“We never expected anything like this out of a video game nerd. To tell you the truth we were as stunned as Mr. Thompson’s limp ass.”
No charges have yet been filed. Either way, you can rest assured that Thompson will use this incident and his broken nose to continue his pointless battle against the evils of video games.
Besides, if he won’t, who will?

Well, we did manage to frighten off Fred Phelps when he was going to show up here. One of the U of I student government members got in trouble for stealing the Gay and Lesbian Club’s flag and desecrating it over a week with his frat buddies. Phelps decided it was unfair that the kid got in trouble and headed to Idaho. He did appear at Boise State University, then cancelled the day before he was going to show up here.
So if we can frighten off that asshole, maybe Jack Thompson really should steer clear of Moscow. Oh, and just for a little realism you should either change the school to BSU, or change the rant to wheat/lentils. We don’t grow potatoes in the northern part of the state.
