I was one of the special people picked to take part in the Tom Clancy’s EndWar Beta. Over the week and all this weekend, I’ve spent a ton of time with it. I’ve made a ton of notes on the invite-only multiplayer beta of one of the most highly anticipated console RTS games of the season….
As part of accepting the entry code to the EndWar beta, I was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement by Ubisoft’s lawyers. In keeping with that agreement, I sent my first draft of this little shocker of an article to Ubisoft’s fleet of lawyers to see if they were okay with my revelations. They made a few alterations, but overall, I was surprised at how much I got away with, to share with the Sarcastic gamer faithful…
And I’m gonna spill it all, after the jump.
After initially starting up the beta, I was surprised at how the ________ and the ___________ seemed to ________ so good. The multiplayer beta pits you against other players __________ in a type of ___________ to see who can ___________ against ________________ in an all out effort for___________________.
There is a ________________ to get you acquainted with EndWar’s control _____________. It consisted of a ________________ then after that you are _____________ with the _____________ before finally __________.
Ok, finally, I was in a game! What a sight. Troops, ____________, tanks, _________________ and all of the special_________________ working together to _______________ the ___________________. As I moved my troops about via the voice commands, I notice that _______________ when you _______________ really _________________ well. All in all the _____________ scheme was put together _________________ and the ____________ in the end.
*paragraph omitted for legal reasons*
Overall, I’ve been enjoying my time in the EndWar Beta. This RTS has added a ___________ within the RTS ____________ with it’s _____________ and ________________. You know what the best thing about the beta, in my opinion was _______________, oh and the ___________ when the ___________________ appears.
When the game finally ships on __________________, the one thing you need to take heed of, and trust me when I say this is _____________________ on the ___________________ with ___________________. That’s gonna be huge.
Keep an eye out for my updated impressions on ______________, just as soon as I can get my next draft past Ubi’s lawyers…
Oh, and Assassin’s Creed sucks… I can’t believe that made it through the censors. In your face Ubisoft!
ps: For extra credit, print out the article as a sort of ad hoc Mad Lib for your own personal enjoyment.
