What’s the big deal with breasts in video games? It’s a computer rendering of one, two, or sometimes four fun bags… They’re not the real thing, or even close to the real thing in most cases, but it still freaks everyone out. OMG mammaries! What about when a game, or in this case an MMO called Age of Conan seeks out the big twins and uses it as a selling point in a “mature” rated game?
Can big get too big?
Funcom, the makers of the RPG, Age of Conan, only about two weeks out from its startlingly successful launch, decided that the women in this pretend world could one day have back problems and be a hassle in their old age. What should they do about it? Well, instead of making a random boob generator, which is the only logical solution, they decided to reduce the breast size of every woman in the game. WHAT THE F….
The players were, of course, angered by this move, which effectively denied them the monstrous jugs they pay their subscription money for and couldn’t ordinarily see without a cover charge and a stack of one dollar bills. No one wants a world with a bunch of old women that are slumped forward, unless you’re into that sort of thing. We won’t judge you.
Actually I made part of that up. It turns out that the developer stated that change was unintentional and that a previous patch for the game had an allergic reaction to one of the newer patches. Hocus pocus, the breasts are smaller. The players were upset though, some threatening to remove their accounts if the honkers were not returned to their original size… and people wonder why regular gamers make fun of MMO players…
Funcom is fixing the issue, so all of you AoC warriors should be swimming in a sea of large knockers very soon.
Nice to see the gaming world has accepted that breasts exist and that the universal truth that exists in both MMO’s and the real world is simply: they want them large.
Bravo, Age of Conan… Bravo.

Boobs sell. Just look at Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur, Tomb Raider.
In fact, that Grand Theft Auto IV game is full of strip clubs and has sold millions…the link is obvious.

Yamster- Correction. Boobs and Violence sells. What better use of your time than to go into a strip club in GTA4 and shoot up the place XD

Violence sells indeed, but if you watch a bloke playing Tomb Raider you can pretty much pinpoint what he’s staring at the whole time.

Wow.. how do you even notice?
MMO players are a special lot. They seriously should go pay that cover charge once in a while.
