AT&T announces top-selling mobile games for Q1 2008

Mobile gamers seem to be as diverse as they are numerous. With more than 71 million mobile customers, AT&T is one of the largest retailers of these bite-sized games, and I just got my hands on their list of top sellers for Q1 2008.  The list after the jump.

  1. Tetris
  2. Bejeweled
  3. PAC-MAN
  4. Wheel of Fortune 2007
  5. Diner Dash
  6. Midnight Pool
  7. Ms. PAC-MAN
  8. World Poker Tour – Texas Hold ‘Em
  9. World Poker Tour 2
  10. Guitar Hero III Mobile

While the top games seem predictable enough, I thought it was nice to see GH3 Mobile crack the top ten.  At least not ALL mobile gamers are boring dill holes and gambling addicts.

I guess devs are waiting for a dual-analog stick cell phone to give us a shooter worth a crap on the phone. Personally, I’m still holding out for GTA4: Mobile.

Sounds like a Fiction Friday Article waiting to happen.
