Let me qualify that title. Everybody is talking about GTA IV, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Gears of War 2. I don’t want to talk about those games. I want to talk about my most anticipated games BESIDES GTA IV, MGS4 and GoW 2.

Besides the big three coming out this year, there are a metric crap ton of great games hitting the market between now and the end of the year. Two of the games that I’ve picked are multi-platform releases, but I plan on buying them on the 360. It’s my article and my rules.

My bottom line: Grand Theft Auto meets the Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. I think this game is going to kick your face off. A must buy.

It’s a sign that 2008 is going to be an interesting year for PS3 vs Xbox when you forget GTA, GoW and MGS.
Those three games all seem capable of either being great or being huge letdowns. Prototype is going to have to exist alongside that other sandbox game who’s name escapes me but seems very similar, Left 4 Dead has to avoid the problems Team Fortress encountered and there’s going to be inevitable backlash against Fallout 3 from the diehards.
If they don’t impress then Microsoft is going to have to hope that all the multiplatform games just work better on the 360, otherwise they’ll lose this year to the large number of big name PS3 exclusives due later this year (though they’ll all probably get pushed back to 09 and render my argument mute… Thanks Sony!!!)

I may have to relinquish my gamercard after saying this, but I’m anticipating Fallout 3 way more than GTA IV, MGS4, or GoW2. After finding the Garden of Eden Creation Kit, becoming a pornstar, and kicking the piss out of Santa Claus; I’ve been dying to see what wasteland would look like in 3D.
Some of you out there have been dying for the big three I’ve mention. I’ve been dying for a FPS Fallout for the better part of a decade.
I agree with L4D and Fallout, but my 3rd game would be fable 2. Believe!

I dunno how many have actually played Fallout but after playing the first two I can’t wait for Fallout 3. I’ll say this, I want it more than GoW2. At least Fallout will be redefined, GoW2 will be the same style.

3. Guitar Hero: On Tour (DS)
Spore is obvious, Fallout 3 is obvious, and I don’t own any system worthy of Rock Band or Guitar Hero save my DS, and that looks SWEET.
don’t forget about Force Unleashed! If they don’t screw that up, it and Fallout will be AMAZING!
