Many 360 owners may have noticed a thread in the forums asking which Arcade games they owned. While it was partly out of curiosity, I wanted to see if there were enough Arcade players to justify a community gathering once a week. I believe there is.
On Saturday April 12th, I’ll be kicking off the first Arcade gamer night on the Xbox 360.
The game will be Texas Hold ‘Em, and invites will be sent out roughly around 5 PM EST (subject to change).
If you don’t have Texas Hold ‘Em or would like to play a different game, just state so in your post. If everyone in the room has Bomberman, for instance, I don’t see why we couldn’t just switch over. Also, the Gamer Night is a chance for the community to get together and play, just because the main room is playing Hold ‘Em, doesn’t mean you can’t meet up with a few people in the thread and play Worms.

Update: The forum members have resoundingly chosen Saturday afternoon before the PS3 night to play. So unless all the Thursday players come out in droves and vote, it looks like Saturday around 5 EST is our time. Post has been edited to reflect that.

It’ll be at about 3-4am, I’ve forgotten which though because of daylight savings time.

This should definitely be held during the weekends.

RK1, seems like you need to validate your email address. I don’t remember if the forums require activation beyond the email verification, though I could be wrong.
Double check your email and junk folders, if you don’t have the validation email, stop over at http://www.sarcasticgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2564 and DDL can help you out.
New members can still post on the Help forums.
In any case, just leave your gamertag with your next message and you’re sure to get in :).
