Subtle PS3 & 360 GTA IV Differences Revealed

I probably wouldn’t have noticed anything had I only had access to one platform, but I noticed the “whores” on the PS3 seemed to “do their business” quicker than the 360 whores. When I brought up the observation, one of the testers replied “Yeah, the PS3 whores are faster… they’re streamed off the hard drive… the 360 whores have to be read from disc. Take a close look… the 360 whores are actually drawn to be a little older and they’re more haggard looking. It’s an inside joke of the programmers and artists.” as he chuckled. He then looked around to see if his boss was listening and whispered “the whores on the 360 version only have red lipstick on 3/4 of their mouths… check it out next time you play, but don’t make it to obvious, we’re hoping to slip that one through certification testing. Brad, the artist that did that, calls it the Red Ring of Herpes!”

    DAM YOU ROTHBART!!! I have been coming to this sight since the ass end of last year and should not be sucked in by Fiction Fridays! It wasn’t till I hit the jump and was waiting for the page to load (seriously you guys need an Australian mirror) that I realized what was going on.

    I just wish that PALGN had a Fiction Friday as this was posted on the 4th as well, but *sob* is happening:

    Yeah I can’t believe their actually censoring the Australian version. And we have to pay $120 for the privelage. Now I’m going to have to cancel my pre-order and order from overseas. Grrrr.

    I don’t think I have been this pissed off about a game release before.

    Its funny, I know a bunch of guys that work in Game (the European version of Gamestop) and they said they have got nearly 3 times as many pre-orders for the PS3 version then the 360 one.

    genius lol….total genius i just recently bought a ps3 and was thinkin wot the f**k 85 mins loading time f**k that i’m def gettin the 360 version then the penny dropped….brilliant!!

    Good article, but we all know that Microsoft have just tried to steal some of the profit Sony made from the platform GTA games. It started with San Andreas, and now GTA IV, and it will continue onwards…

    Haha, nice article. For the first few minutes I thought “Hey, having you in a box on a ship during the installation is kinda clever.”

    Then it devolved into the dumbest thing ever with the having to kill rats “mini-game.”

    Then it evolved into a hilarious article when I realized it was fake.

    In Super Paper Mario you can destroy the entire universe before you get to start playing.
