SG Comic: Episode 2

April 3rd, 2008 at 4:46 pm · 19 Comments

MightyMutt RETURNS with another edition of the Sarcastic Gamer Comic.  In this episode you are taken behind the scenes to see exactly how SG operates behind the scenes.  Hit the jump to genius.

Please join me in welcoming MightyMutt OFFICIALLY to the Sarcastic Gamer team.

He has been working quietly and diligently behind the scenes to get way ahead on these comics, and we’re all very thrilled to add him to our ranks.  We still don’t what to call him, so for now he’ll be known as our “First Official Brit” on the team.  That really doesn’t mean anything except that he has an excuse to miss all of the conference calls, since they take place at about 4 am his time.

    • Saccia says:

MightyMutt, you rock! Keep up the good work.

    • Saccia says:

I think the grey block is IGN or 1Up trying to stop the flood of sarcasm. Sarcasm is like kryptonite to them.

    • Pharao says:

Wow that really sucks. Is to opposite of funny being sarcastic? If yes this still sucks….

    • Doc says:

      @pharao

I think Kotaku’s got some papercraft you might enjoy looking at.

    • Animathias says:

Very cool, Mighty Mutt. If you have the time, you should make some 100 x 100 avatars of the SG crew (and the Grey Block)
(My captcha’s first word is mighty)

    • Lono says:

    • ktman says:

Very cool! I always look foreward to these.

    • Volkov says:

I believe the little square represents laziness in art.

    • @volkov

maybe or maybe it represents a force so evil that it is almost as evil as EA

    • The Ploogle says:

Great work! I would actually pay for a book filled with these. Keep up the good work…although these are old comics!

    • Jordan the hobo says:

    • veilx says:

    • Captain x says:

LOL man that was really cool nice work mighty mut!

    • Kage says:

Eh…sorry, but i didn’t like it. Wasn’t funny at all.

    • MightyMutt says:

Kage I have no problem, with you not liking it – each to their own & the only thing I’ll say is that is probably my least favourite so far and I think I have got better at this as time goes on. (I’m sure you’ll let me know if you disagree) Stick with it, you might like it.

As for Pharao – I’ll only continue this conversation when you come up with a better quality of insult! Sucks is so dull and still managed to repeat yourself.

Everyone else – thank you very much for your kind messages of support – it makes it all worthwhile.

I can tell you that no one has correctly guessed who the grey square may be.

    • AODKurt aka leet says:

It is obviously Alex because he is teh boredzor. If not then my next pick is doc because of that boring music i heard he was listening to on the guess that dude’s music contest. Total fail.

    • Lono says:

MightyMutt, we at the site love the cartoon, keep up the good work man, I’m sure that this is only going to get better as it goes on.

      Keep it up man.
