As some of you may know, I have been without my 360 for just over a week due to the dreaded Red Rings of Death. It has been a sad time, a time to sit and look at the blank spot on my dresser in my room, in my parents house, while remembering better days.
Today, I got a phone call that changed all of that.
I got a call from UPS this morning that gave me a tracking number and informed me that someone needed to be here to sign for a package. I went to their website and the package appears to have made the journey from Mesquite, Texas, the closest Xbox repair shop.
My love and break releationship with my Xbox 360 has come full circle, again.
What were the chances that my 360 would be back for the GTA4 launch? Slim, but it made it there and back in just over a week. F***************************************************** YEAH!
I declare today a Sarcastic Holiday. The day the world stood up as one and decided to fictionally car jack their fellow man, and the day my 360 returned to me.
The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away and then giveth back again, just in time for GTA IV!

^ ^
It’s called Warm Coffee now
Which Isn’t as hot… but it’s warm like it’s been sitting out collecting dust, skin flakes, mildew, and shame. It’s all good though.

They should also make the most of your GTAIV experience….*pats freshly unboxed 360*
Eh, I’m just kidding. While my 360 was away, I beat Resistance. Good times.

hey dave next time your xbox craps the bed when you have a big match to play, you should hit up a rent a center or aarons rentals and rent one for a week. itll cost ya 20 bucks or so. but thats pennies compared to getting pwned by a bunch of guys that sag their cammies and hold their m16 sideways.

I feel your pain. I bought GTA today, got home to play it.
Put it in my Xbox and got a weird screen saying I had to put the dvd in a xbox 360, like it was being played in a regular dvd.
I said “Huh… weird”, I restart my xbox, put the game in and it works. I get to the beginning movie on the boat and the screen freezes after 1 minute of play.
I restart again… red rings.
I had this 360 for over 1 year without even a single issue… talk about freaking timing.

Next time just pay 40 bucks for a 2 year warranty then you can take it back to the store you got it from in one day…
