It’s Monday… again, and you only get one chance to start the week off the right way. No, not coffee and an Egg McMuffin. In a gamer’s world, there’s nothing better than looking at the games coming out this week.
Here are your titles for this week, with just a pinch of sarcasm.
- 4/14 Major League Baseball 2K8 Fantasy All-Stars (DS) – Just in time for Baseball… oh wait the season started weeks ago.
- 4/15 Cory in the House (DS) – Sounds like an 80’s sitcom staring Corey Haim and Corey Feldman.
- 4/15 Dancing with the Stars: The PC Game (PC) – I wonder if you can be Jerry Springer, so afterwards you can go on your show and act like the drama is real.
- 4/15 Emergency Mayhem (Wii) – Nothing funner than controlling a cities emergency response vehicles.
- 4/15 Europa Universalis: Rome (PC) – Rome wasn’t build in a day, but if you’ve got the time you can make it happen.
- 4/15 Final Fantasy XI: Vana’diel Collection 2008 (PC) - It’s one of the greatest series of all time, they could have thought of a better name for the compilation.
- 4/15 Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3) - Translates to the grand touring, takes some of the awesomeness away when you say it like that.
- 4/15 Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack (X360) – Halo fanboys will have something new to take them away from playing Call of Duty 4.
- 4/15 High School Musical 2: Work This Out (DS) – What could this game possibly be about?
- 4/15 Jack Keane (PC) – It’s like Sid Meier’s Pirates with puzzles.
- 4/15 Okami (Wii) - Fancy way of say Wii Paint Adventure.
- 4/15 Rondo of Swords (DS) – I wonder if there are guns in this one.
- 4/15 Sims 2: Double Deluxe (PC) – How is this franchise still making money?
- 4/15 Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff (PC) – SERIOUSLY!
- 4/15 Summer Sports: Paradise Island (Wii) - Why go outside and actually play basketball, croquet, lawn darts, badminton, volleyball, horse Shoes, and mini-Golf? Honestly, how many people play croquet and badminton?
- 4/15 Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys! (DS) – Sounds mature.
- 4/15 Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (PC) – Better late than never.
- 4/16 TrackMania: Nations Forever (PC) – It’s like Speed Racer, but without the cheesy dialog.
- 4/17 Warhawk — Operation: Broken Mirror (PS3) – Better download it, no one likes to be left out.
Hopefully, one of these titles catch your eye. If not, next week is the big week of the month for releases. What are they? That would be telling. Check back next Monday for the new release goodness!
Enjoy your week and GAME ON!

Isn’t it about time for The Sims 3 to be released? I mean EA released Sims 1, sold millions, released about 20,000 expansions (sold millions), then went on to release Sims 2 (Sims 1 owners either buy the “new improved” version or get left behind…), then 20,000 more expansions dedicated to Sims 2 (all of which sell like hotcakes again).
I just figure that it’s about time EA release the “even further improved” version in the form of Sims 3 so they can leave all of the Sims 2 owners royally screwed unless they buy the new game.
Come on EA, you might as well keep up your bad habits!
ooh Okami comes out this week?
sweet
Warhawk ? Operation: Broken Mirror?
Another small expansion we have to pay the equivalent of $8 to get a new map and a new vehicle? … Déjà vu
hmm like Dave says, ‘Better download it, no one likes to be left out.’. – I’m not too pleased ’bout this tho tbh, not because i don’t think it’s not worth it (though, it probably isn’t), but because ages ago one of the developers of warhawk said they didn’t believe in charging extra for this kinda’ material.
.. they even once mentioned a single player campaign for free..

@ Krelith: They announced Sims 3 a while ago. Not that I really care.
