In what can only be described as one of the closest matches of its kind, Gamertag Radio pulled out a win over Sarcastic Gamer, winning 3 games out of 5 to clinch the title in this highly anticipated matchup. The event was streamed live over Mogulus with Doc acting as cameraman, and Godfree providing his own special brand of play by play.
While tensions ran high as the match concluded, on behalf of the entire Sarcastic Gamer Community, I’d like to congratulate both teams on a job well done.
As agreed upon prior to the match, Sarcastic Gamer will change its name for one week to Sarcastic Gamertag Radio. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but a bet is a bet, and Gamertag Radio won fair and square.
Word of a rematch is already permeating the community, mostly on the SG side. We’ll keep you updated as details are made available.
Thanks to everyone who came and watched the match. It was a hell of a game.

Man, Lono may end up living in his mother’s basement after this; assuming he is married the shame of it could be destructive… Then again, he’s an attorney so shame shouldn’t bother him in the least.

All the games were very very close, SG put up a hell of a fight and it was hard but at the end of the day, GTR came on top.

Well, congrats GTR, we had some issues with two of the matches we lost, I”m not saying we would have won them if things were straight up, but hey, a win is a win.
Let’s just hope that GTR will rematch us as soon as possible, I think we deserve it.

I’ll remember to bring a tent and some things to make S’mores next time.
But all in all, they played well, and obviously have played the game for multiples of many people on SG. We should have practiced alot more instead of 10 matches a couple days beforehand.

I was here for the stream and at the end you could tell the match was close. As much as I enjoyed the live chat and stream it seemed like more trouble than good. Next time maybe you should just post a final video with some commentary. Sucks for SG.

@atomicflapjack - the resolution is like that because of bandwidth limitations and live stream via the site we use. several players recorded the match and we’re getting the content together now. one of them was 2.7 gb’s so it’ll take a while. i’m working on getting a hd recorder so the next one’s resolution will be at least 720p.
