Sometimes video game trailers give us all an intriguing glimpse of great things to come. Sometimes the ONLY good thing about a title was the trailer. However, it is fun sometimes to ignore your inner cynic and just enjoy the show. While searching for videos to watch as I ate my breakfast this morning, I came across a few trailers that really blew me away.

Armored Core: For Answer
The 5th-ish installment of the Armored Core series just came out in Japan and one can only hope it will make its way to North America soon. Once again, it’s time to jump into a giant robot and battle it out. Honestly, who doesn’t want to carry a gun the size of a car?
This trailer doesn’t show one lick of gameplay, but it sure does look fantastic, despite the game’s stupid title.

Armoured Core was long and quite boring. If they did include some actual game play it wouldn’t have sucked this badly.
I have to agree with GTA IV. “Thanks to politicians, it’s about fighting terrorists, one old lady at a time” Got to love that.
Prototype does look sweet. At the beginning though, it looks like a modern Altair.
I thought the same thing about prototype.

The trailer for the first game was absurdly long. By the end, I had completely forgotten the title of it. However, maybe that’s a good thing, because that title really sucked.
Seriously can’t wait for prototype!

Great choices PMPB. That guy at the end of the Prototype trailer that said “Product not yet rated” was kind of out of place though.
That last one has a strong resemblance to assassins creed!
