
Only total morons would give this much abuse to a DS Lite. But thank Jebus for morons with video cameras, otherwise we would never know if Nintendo’s handheld could survive a three-story drop to its doom (answer: no).
I look forward to future flamethrower and “fat man’s back pocket” evaluations. Hopefully for Apple products.

This seems less like a stress test for the Lite and more like an endurance test for DS fanboys. It grinded against my soul to hear the impacts, and I’m not even a rabid fan.
It looks pretty sturdy. My GBC has gone through some pretty good falls in it’s life time and still holds up decent enough.
Theres one site who smashed a PS3 with a sledge hammer…on release day…..outside the store. It was classic^_^

The nintendo musem at the nintendo store, in new york has a few beat up gameboys that work and are still running tetris non stop everyday under a glass case I saw on my vacation to nintendo world.
Gameboy that lived through direct contact with a house fire. melted and chared still.
Gameboy in a car crash.
Gameboy that was hit with shrapnel from an explosive device in gulf war.
There a few feet from the proto type NES, and next to all the colors of gameboy advance.
There is some in older nintendo power issues that lived through extreme condtions.
