I may have just received some visual proof that a web browser is coming to Xbox Live. This may just be the real deal.Check it out for yourself…
What I received was a screen capture of Major Nelson’s Blog Homepage. From forum member and SG Moderator Frawlz, so you know that it’s legit. Check out the upper left hand corner where it indicates what the Major’s been doing…

Offline for three hours? Last seen on Xbox.com? What the hell is that? That’s pretty wierd.
I believe that it’s indisputable proof of a web browser coming to the Xbox 360.
Major Nelson is surfing the web on his Xbox. There’s no other explanation. He obviously has nothing better to do with his time than surf Xbox.com endlessly when he’s not working on his next Major’s Minute, playing kissyface with GDC delegates, or recording the best podcast on the interwebs…
The scoop of the decade? Maybe… I dunno yet, but when I’m getting my Pulitzer Prize for breaking this news, I’ll be thanking Frawlz for his keen eye and outstanding screen shot capture abilities.

Stay tuned fellow readers, we may just have popped the biggest Xbox 360 balloon yet.

ummm its not a web browser… its called “presence”
Liveeye.com has been doing it for a long time telling you how long you’ve been online… and now, xbox.com will tell your last log-in period…
browser isnt coming… sorry…

Nice one AndyG, get over-hyped and fanboyish about a Fiction Friday article. Any piggybacking on the net browser bandwagon could easily be called a copy of PS3, which is what I do most of my browsing on these days - even right now!
