Are you missing something from your first person shooter? Are you having problems with getting enough head shots for that red tiger cammo for your favorite gun in Call of Duty 4? I was perusing IGN today and I read a preview for an add-on that will supposedly make me a better FPS player… Check it out, after the break. A company called kontrolfreek develops accessories for controllers. They previously made an add-on specifically for racing games, which was highly regarded by those that used it.

Well, they’ve developed a new accessory, specifically for FPS games, called the FPS Freek.

Here’s what it looks like, from IGN:

They claim that by increasing the length of the analog stick, it will ease the initial resistance offered by the analog stick springs, making precise movements much easier.

I’ve never been a fan of the comfort level of the xbox analog stick. This is crazy enough, that it just may work.

The article indicated that they’re offering a pre-order option for $9.99 for a pair, and $17.50 for 4 FPS Freeks. I think I’m gonna pre-order a pair up and take them for a spin.

I’ll let you know how it works out, so you don’t waste ten bucks.

I hate playing FPS games on consoles _because_ of the sticks… if these help (and are sturdy/comfortable), I wouldn’t care so much that they look like ass.

“13 (or XIII) was awesome” do you still have it? because i picked it up for £2 the other day and it’s back compact with 360

conversely you could just tape about 6 nickels to the top of your controller sticks. Net cost:

      60 cents (plus tape)

      sorry this looks retarded.

It does look stupid but if it works so what. Just whatch them laugh while your overly accurate headshot downs them.

The only way to make you better is to throw the controler in the trash and Get a PC with a mouse and Keybaord.

Or you can toss $17.99 in the TRash or buy 17.99 worth of tacos I would get the tacos as the greese on the Taco while you play has a better chance of making you better.
