After the debacle surrounding Fox News earlier this month, it seems that some other networks don’t want to find themselves with their proverbial foot in their mouths. That’s why Home and Garden Television is announcing the complete buyout of Sarcastic Gamer.

Les Anderson from HGTV explains, “While we’ve basically had a monopoly on home and garden type TV shows, we needed more sarcasm, plus I’ve wanted Halo 3 tips for some time, that Tsavo Highway really kicks my tuckus…”

This is a great deal for both parties involved. While HGTV will get some true gamers on their staff, our great forum readers will have access to articles and Internet shows like “Cooking with Lono,” “My Parents’ House” with new host Dave, and what is already setting the Internet abuzz with anticipation, Doc joins the cast of “Scrapbooking.”

Most of the website will stay the same, but gamer nights will be seeing the biggest change. Instead of extremely violent games like CoD4 or Frontlines, we’ll be playing more on-topic games, like Viva Pinata and the Sims. Even tonight Sarcastic Gamer writer will be hosting a room in Animal Crossing DS for gamer night. Next week we’ll be holding a Cooking Mama tournament. Get those Wiimotes a waggling!

Finally, a place where you can go to get the latest video game news, and learn how to remodel your bathroom, all in one place. That’s the new Sarcastic Home and Gamer.
