Some of the heat Mass Effect and others have been getting these past few months over their “adult” content from inept parents and uniformed members of the media is about to dissipate, thanks to my main man: Kratos. That’s right, God of War: Chains of Olympus is following in its predecessors footsteps and will feature fully animated and viewable nudity. No Mass Effect side boob, or half a butt cheek for Kratos.
Find out why it’s about time, after the jump!
Chains of Olympus is already one of, if not THE most anticipated titles for the PSP this year, or ever. As with any Mature rated video game release, GoW would not be the same without a little controversy.
The newest installment in the God of War series will feature a sweet mini-game in which Kratos comes upon two classy young ladies with great personalities, who just happen to love bald headed, gore covered warriors of destruction. While the actual sexual encounter takes place off screen, you do see fully animated breasts on screen before the view pans to the side and the player must hit the appropriate buttons to “knock one out,” which results in what appears to be a health boost.
You can check out the gameplay footage of this scene here.
*Warning this video contains nudity and is not meant for children!*
This title, like those before it, is rated M for mature and is in no way meant for the kiddies. Expect to see “Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Nudity, Sexual Themes, Strong Language.” Hopefully, that will warn parents and unwary consumers not to buy this game for junior. I doubt it though. If past experience has taught us anything it’s that “the female form is evil” and any attempt to cater to the massive gaming audience above 18 years of age will be dismissed as “targeting children.”
I still prefer the real thing, but a little adult gaming fun never hurt either. I can’t wait to see what Fox News says about this one!

Being on a Japanese Console/Handheld, Im sure it will slip under the very short-ranged Radar of Fox News.
That said, it didnt stop them from reporting Pictochat as a tool for pedophiles did it?
Fox did the “PlayStation PORNable” story, too.
If the media is right and the female form is, indeed, “evil”.. then why shouldn’t we be allowed to treat it however we want?
Make up your minds, parents.
Its not the first GoW game to do this, they did it in the first game as well.
@GAM: AND the second one too, I think it might become a constant in the franchise
^ “following in its predecessors footsteps”
I’m glad they have not caved and continue to hold to their M rated roots. I never considered a lil boob to be a selling point, but it doesn’t hurt either.
The game takes place in ancient greece (mythical greece) it should have naked chics. Those guys invented the orgie, they deserve a little homage.
Fox News. The Jack Thompson cult.
I found sarcasticgamer.com very informative. The article is professionally written and I feel like the author knows the subject very well. sarcasticgamer.com keep it that way.
