It’s Monday, and you only get one chance to start the week off the right way. In a gamers world, what would be better than looking at the games coming out this week?

Here are your titles for this week with just a smidge of sarcasm.

  • 2/11 Black [Xbox Originals] (X360) – Why go to the store and buy it for $10 when you can download it at home for $15. Always bet on Black. Gotta love Wesley Snipes.
  • 2/11 Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves The Mermaids (PS2) – Explore with Dora, enough said… If you’re 5 years old.
  • 2/11 Go, Diego, Go! Safari Rescue (PS2 & Wii) – Zoologist facist propaganda.
  • 2/11 Harvest Moon [Virtual Console] (Wii) – It’s like Sim City, but with cows and John Deer tractors everywhere. Get out your Microsoft Diamond Card!
  • 2/11 Ninja Gaiden Black [Xbox Originals] (X360) – See Black review.
  • 2/11 Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS) – No, no orgies here. Just games and puzzles…So disappointing.
  • 2/11 Sid Meier’s Pirates! Live the Life [Xbox Originals] (X360) – Pirates, pirates, pirates everywhere, but without the scurvy!
  • 2/12 Balloon Pop (Wii) – Oh SNAP! You get to pop balloons.
  • 2/12 Chessmaster: The Art of Learning (PSP) – Why spend $3 on the cheap hand held version when you could drop $30 for you PSP. Here’s a tip: Don’t ever buy a game that has “learning” in the title.
  • 2/12 Conflict: Denied Ops (X360, PC, & PS3) – A turd in a box, is still a turd in a box. No matter whose box it’s in. Denied.
  • 2/12 Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Elements (X360) – It’s like Diablo, only it’s not.
  • 2/12 Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts (DS) – I don’t think you’ll find Dora down there.
  • 2/12 Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon — Special Edition (PS2) – Want to farm, this is the game for you.
  • 2/12 London Taxi: Rush Hour (Wii) – Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are back…oh wait, wrong Rush Hour.
  • 2/12 Lost Odyssey (X360) – Lose your way as you wonder about. Sounds like they should have planned that Odyssey out a bit better…
  • 2/12 The New Zealand Story Revolution (DS) – Kick some tale with Tiki, the Kiwi bird.
  • 2/12 Powerboat GT (PC) – They love to throw GT into racing titles, because Powerboat just sounds absurd.
  • 2/12 Sam & Max — Season 2 Episode #3: Night of the Raving Dead (PC) – Tune in a year or so from now for the next episode. They like cliffhangers!
  • 2/12 Wipeout Pulse (PSP) – This game must be about surfing. Nope, another racer, but with a pulse! Yeah, I know… that sucked.
  • 2/15 The Experiment (PC) – Two girls, one cup.  Kidding… Actually, its about two college girls in a dorm and sometimes they get curious.  Actually, I have no idea what this one is about.
  • 2/15 Iridium Runners (PS2) – Another racing game, this time in the future, but without Michael J. Fox.
  • 2/15 Penumbra: Black Plague (PC) – Play with a Rubik’s cube in the dark. FUN!!!

Hopefully one of these titles catches your eye. If not, oh well.

Enjoy your week and GAME ON!

You know with the outrageous prices for used copies of Ninja Gaiden Black and Sid Meier’s Pirates, xbox originals for once looks like a decent option.

    • clstirens says:

Yeah, but the prices for these titles (used) goes back up after they come out on xbox originals. Happened with a few of the first ones released.

Lost Odyssey , i think i am the only person in USA who is buying that game

    • animathias says:

Maybe at launch, footnmouth. I’m definitely looking forward to Lost Odyssey, I just need some money.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic looks like it could be a fine rental, too.
On the topic of Xbox originals, they should be $10. They don’t iron out any of the bugs in the game, they don’t do any extra coding, why charge us extra for them?

    • Dave: That was quality entertainment there! I’ll never look at a “plain” release list again!

I have track down The Experiment ASAP!

WOW!! A Dora and a Diego game this week?! You heard my prayers!!!
