The battle to end all battles that has raged for a thousand years, has taken another turn this week…
Call of Duty 4, the underdog of underdogs, has taken the Xbox Live Crown away from Halo3 again, for the second time, in the last three weeks. Major Nelson’s Weekly List of most played Xbox Live titles lists Halo Jesus as #2 (how appropriate) and Call of Duty 4 as Numero Uno.
Did all of the DLC talk spur the masses into a Call of Duty 4 frenzy? Or was it our handy, dandy Expert’s Guide?
Who knows?

Halo 3 is better in longevity, I think. Just wait about 6 months.

Why does everyone say Halo 3 is better in longevity. There isn’t any history to back that up. The game has been out roughly as long as COD4 so the argument could be made the same for it. Just because a previous game had longevity on a console (Halo 2 original Xbox) with a lack of many other good games doesn’t mean a thing. The 360 has WAY more good games than the original Xbox and Halo’s starting to suffer for it.

How about, have friggin’ vehicles in COD5, or maybe allow us to transport to that damn hellicopter after 7 kills so we can go into thermo-mode so I can lace up some action. Point being, that is the only reason I’m digging Halo, not to mention instant-replays. So I’m thinking Halo is geared more for longevity in that sense. COD4 is the bomb, and after playing it, and then attempting to get back into Halo 3: crappy graphics, and super high jumpers…. eh!

Halo Jesus has many cool modes like forge. But somehow (and i still don’t know why) Call of Mother 4 makes more fun than Big H .

i play both and like both maybe cod more than halo not sure why tho . not to take sides so ….

Doesn’t surprise me, COD 4 is a much better game. But I think that having a lot of great games makes the 360 that much better than PS3
